The Mirador Hotel is located in the northernmost district of Belize, just 15 miles from the border of Mexico. Belize is such a small country, about the size of Massachusettes, if you have a few days, you can experience a real diversity of activity, including snorkeling and diving on the cayes, cave tubing at the Caves Branch Reserve, visiting Mayan ruins, or going up into the Mountain Pine Ridge. We can help arrange tours that are of interest to you.

Belize is rich with Mayan history, and many archaeological sites attest to this wealth. We can help set up tours for you that you might be interested in. Cerros is right in the Corozal District. Lamanai, just about 30 miles south of Corozal is very popular, and iincludes a trip down the New River to the site. Altun Ha is easily accessible from Corozal. Xunantunich is somewhat farther away, but can still be done in a (long) days trip from Corozal.

One tour which is very unique to Belize is cave tubing. This is done at Caves Branch Reserve, just west of Belize City. For more details about cave tubing, see the website of Vitalino Reyes a seasoned Corozal tour guide who is a cave tubing pioneer.
